Project genesis
This house, built in 1903, probably belonged to a village merchant who had a shop on the right-hand side and his home on the other side. A chance meeting in the summer of 2017 led Laurent to buy the ruin and embark on a crazy renovation project.
To do so, he called on his friend, the designer Hugues De Groote, who began sketching out the project after infusing it with Algarve style…
